terrestrial laser scanning / 地上レーザ測量

地上レーザ測量（TLS）は、地球科学分野で近年広まりつつある、高解像度地形情報取得方法の一つである。中距離型、短距離型の2つのレーザスキャナを用いて、日本国内をはじめ世界各地で現地調査を行い、得られる高解像度地形情報の解析や利活用について検討を行っている。

structure-from-motion / SfM多視点ステレオ写真測量

SfM多視点ステレオ写真測量（通称SfM）は、近年急速に地球科学分野で普及しつつある、高解像度地形情報の取得方法である。これは小型無人航空機（sUAV）やポールカメラ、手持ちカメラなどで大量の写真撮影を行い、対象の3次元情報を得るものである。この手法を用いた調査を多様な対象で行い、またTLSの計測結果とも合わせて、その解析・利活用について検討を進めている。
